How deep can Nexus find buried or lost targets?
The depth at which the Nexus metal detectors will be capable to detect various in shape, size and weight targets will depend on different conditions as it is with all other metal detectors. However complicated the answer to this questions might be we can still provide you with some basic information of what the Nexus can do in this regard. EXAMPLES: Roman sesterti, Victorian penny (size 30mm average) or any other coin with this size, buried 14″(36 cm) under compact undisturbed normal soil is easy to detect at minimum Gain (sensitivity) setting with the 9″ search coil. A Hoard of coins (1 kg.) buried at 24″ depth in normal compact and undisturbed soil is easy to find with the 20″ Nexus Ultima search coil.
