How dangerous is it to smoke marijuana and drive a car?

Hypothetically, based on personal experience, a “comfortable buzz” would impair your driving a little bit, but not enough to make you extremely likely to crash… the main problem I would say is getting distracted, especially if there’s people in the car talking. But I would say driving high is much less risky than driving drunk. Also I know you didn’t ask this, but I’ve also noticed that driving “completely stoned” causes driving at extremely low speeds, while driving drunk causes high speed driving. Low speeds are obviously safer. Another thing I notice about high-driving is that sometimes sharp curves are a problem… like it doesn’t seem as sharp of a curve so you start turning too wide and get out of your lane a bit. But if there’s lines on the road, I’ve found it’s no problem… I just focus on them and then I don’t leave my lane. Also one last thing… as long as you have eye drops (to get rid of bloodshot eyes) and good coordination, you should be able to pass a sobriety test a

I do not agree with the previous post about a lapse in reaction time while smoking weed. I think it is just as normal as any other time, and I believe you are more focused on what you are doing. I believe it is all relative also, if you are a regular stoner and have smoked a little your not as likely to be as impaired as say if your grandmother smoked the same amount for the first time and tried to drive. I do think it is much worse for both reaction time and focus to be even tipsy (not legally drunk) as alcohol seems to release you from more of your inhibitions and allows you to take more chances resulting in more risk and probable mistakes.
