How dangerous is fluoride toothpaste?
not at all dangerous. the first and most obvious point is that you will never (i hope) ingest toothpaste on a regular basis, and on these grounds, you will get no toxic effects of fluoride excess but simply using it and spitting it out. secondly fluoride in toothpaste is at a ridiculously low level which makes it safe even if you did decide to have some with breakfast. also fluorosis is a conditon when your teeth take up too much fluoride and you get yellow staining on your teeth, again this will need ridiculously high levels of fluoride. as for any systemic effects, there is no chance of you getting poisoned by fluoride from toothpaste .
