During the clinical trials, it was discovered that doxylamine-succinate is an even more potent sedative that phenobarbital (a powerful prescription sedative and also a barbiturate). It is a CNS depressant, which means it slows your body down. Alcohol is also a CNS depressant. Anything from heart to lung failure could happen if you do this. -edit- please don’t take the chance. i have seen CRAZY things happen to people who combine over-the-counter antihistamines w/alcohol.
