How could they individualize a country which is Angola?
You know, the relations with Angola and the United States have got a baggage of 30 years of (inaudible). Can you tell us a bit about your – I remember that General Jones, now the national security advisor, he went there once or twice. Can you tell us a bit about the relationships with Angola, how the United States sees Angola and their role in West Africa? AMBASSADOR YATES: Well, I have a great deal of hope for the U.S. relationship with Angola, and specifically the Africa Command. I was there – it might have been in the last six months I was there and had wonderful meetings with military and foreign ministry, with other diplomats there. You pointed out some of the history that our country has. I think that we’re ready to turn a chapter. Angola is a leader. It’s a leader both in Central Africa and in Southern Africa.
