How could the prophets before Muhammad be Muslims when he was the one that started Islam (or that it started in the 7th Century)?
Islam means wholeheartedly accepting the guiding wisdom of Allah and submitting to His directives. And that was what all the previous prophets taught. It was only completed and perfected through Prophet Muhammad. So it is not true that Prophet Muhammad started Islam or that it started in the 7th Century.
