How Could Nuclear Energy Be Classified As an Inexhaustible Resource?
Nuclear energy could be classified as an inexhaustible resource if thermal nuclear reactors are replaced with more energy-efficient reactors, which would extend the practical supply of nuclear fuels into the far future, according to a report from the Global Environmental Climate Change Center at McGill University in Canada. Another, but more distant, possibility is a complete revolution in the production of nuclear energy through fusion of atomic nuclei.
