How could I go about finding and raising a pet wolf (under CONTROLLED circumstances)?
Wolves are much more difficult to work with than dogs, your best bet is to learn about wolf behavior from people who are actually working with them in captive situations. Find a sanctuary or facility of some sort and offer to do volunteer work. They will be happy for the extra help and you will learn what you are asking. It takes more than one person to raise a wolf pup and it takes more than one wolf pup to develop normal social behavior. Learn from the people who have raised wolves already rather than trying to “reinvent the wheel”. Wolves can live into their teens and are a huge responsibility.
