How could I arrange a big holiday to the 2010 winter olympics in Vancouver?
It looks like it’s going to be very expensive especially when you have to figure in your airfare. I myself didn’t realize until I did a bit of sleuthing just now. If at all possible, budget permitting, try to stay somewhere near the events…Whistler or Squamish. Vancouver is beautiful but then you are still facing the sea-to-ski highway if you stay there or further out still. They are upgrading the road but it has always been a potentially dangerous drive in poor weather. Still, Vancouver is bound to be a little less expensive but you will need to concern yourself with transportation back and forth.
