You may or may not find someone famous if you shake your family tree, but you will always find something interesting that you didn’t know. In the US many people whose ancestors immigrated in colonial times are related. In tracing a friends family tree I found that we were related way back. We had no clue that we were. Everything i will suggest is free. You have to trace your own family back to find out who you might connect with. You can’t enter your name anywhere and find your particular family tree. If you have done the research at home: asked older relatives what they know-ancestors as far back as they can go, names, locations- state, county, and city hopefully, birth and death dates or approximations, spouses, siblings, and children, then check for any old family Bibles, which often list family names and birth and death dates. See if older family members have saved old letters, photos, funeral cards, marriage records, etc. Check local records and cemeteries, if you can, then search
