How could eco-tax been used to promote sustainable development in the Spanish island Majorca?
A geography question. Question information: TOURISTS TAXED ON SPANISH HOLIDAY ISLANDS Tourists going to Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza will have to pay a new eco-tax of 1 euro per day to repair the damage mass tourism has caused to the environment. I dont understand How could the eco-tax been used to promote sustainable development in their island, because surely what ever they spend the money on, tourists could damage it some how so nothing is sustainable.
