How Cost-Effective is Duke Forest Management?
Creation of a plan, which will monitor cost, productivity and efficiency of management strategies on the Forest. This should include an analysis of recent (5-year) data on past management activities. • Duke Forest as a “High Conservation Value Forest.” Development of a monitoring system to ensure the maintenance of High Conservation Value Forest (HCVF) values and incorporation of this system into the Management Plan and a mechanism to educate the various stakeholders on HCVFs. The project will first require the adoption of a definition of HCVF values appropriate for the Duke Forest.
