How Confidential Is The DNA Analysis?
DNASecure recognizes the sensitivity and legitimate concern surrounding DNA. Preparation of the DNASecure Card and DNASecure Profile does not involve any testing for diseases, race or matching for purposes of paternity or criminal information. The testing merely confirms that the extracted DNA is suitable for analysis. The laboratory staff is bound by government privacy laws such as HIPAA, as well as stringent corporate confidentiality policies. Once your DNASecure Cards have been shipped to you, we retain none of they DNA and the swabs are destroyed by the laboratory, assuring you that no other analysis can be done.
