How competitive is the assistantship application process?
It’s a relatively competitive process to get one of the assistantships. In terms of a student’s background, there are certain students that are sort of at an advantage of getting GA positions. For instance, if you have a technology background or if you have an undergraduate degree in business or a related field, it’s somewhat easier to get those positions.
