A4. Very competitive. There are less than 70 (21 Division 1) Men’s varsity programs in the country so many outstanding male players end up playing club volleyball in college. In comparison, there are over 400 Men’s club teams and 15 organized leagues around the country. Many of the top club programs compete against area varsity teams during fall pre-season (and do very well).
