How Competitive is Ivy Tech Sellersburg, really?
I’m looking to become a CNA in the next couple of months and I’m currently attending Ivy Tech in Sellersburg. I hear the nursing program is extremely competitive. How competitive is this exactly? If for some reason I am unable to enter into the nursing program, do I have other options? Will IUS work with me if Ivy Tech won’t? I get mostly A’s and B’s. Mostly A’s, but I’m kind of getting nervous. I have one C from U of L on my college transcript, but it was in theater (New boyfriend–skipped lots of classes. Bad idea, I know). Is it really that important? I know I’m intelligent enough to be a nurse and I know I can do it, but will Ivy Tech dismiss me for a few B’s? Or even one C? I’m worried about entering into the program. I am still working on my general education. What will raise my chances of getting into the program? Please help. I’m wondering if I’m wasting my time or I’m setting myself up for a big disappointment.
