How common is throat chlamydia in men from giving oral to a woman?
There is a chance yes if you have had unprotected sex, however it is unlikely. Chlamydia is mostly transmitted through anal or vaginal sex and less commonly through oral sex. Throat chlamydia in general is rare. Chlamydia is not commonly transmitted through oral sex because the bacteria that causes chlamydia prefer the genital area rather than the throat. It is still possible though. It is very uncommon for transmission to take place from vagina-to-mouth. Transmission is not known to occur from mouth to vagina so even if you did have throat chlamydia, you won’t pass it on to a female by giving her oral sex. It is possible through kissing though. There is still a chance like I said so best get a full STI screen.
