• Age-related memory loss is very common. The older a person is, the more memoryloss occurs. Usually it starts with some loss of immediate recall memory. Increased memoryloss can be a symptom of the first phases of Alzheimer disease. Recent health statisticshave suggested that approximately 30 percent of 60-year-old consumers may already beexperiencing the early stage of cognitive decline and by 70 years old over 50 percent experience a decline in cognitive function.
