How come when I click on the driver letter it says “Driver not ready” or ImageMate has taken another driver on Windows XP?

This is due to a conflict with another device on or near that drive letter. In Windows XP you can change a drive letter by going to Start Click on control panel and double-clicking the Administrative tools icon. Then go to computer management Below that choose storage Below storage choose Disk Management. On the right hand side right-click on the drive of choice and choose change drive letter.
