Based on the question, i’m assuming your lint is still purple even when you do whites, that probably means that your dryer is clogged up with lint, which can shorten the life of the motor, lengthen the time it takes clothes to dry, or burn out your RTDs, you should clean out the exhaust hose and take the back panel off and clean out the inside of the dryer as well.
