Check your system file config.sys. Add this line “device=c:\DOS\himem.sys” In order to work well with emm386, remove the argument “NOEMS” as “device=c:\dos\emm386” or edit it as “device=c:\dos\emm386 x=d000-d3ff” or remark it as “rem device=c:\dos\emm386”. Save config.sys and restart the computer.
