How come so many innocent people today follow false teaching and are not aware of it?
Answer Thanks for the question. I will do my best to answer. There are several factors. The bigggest fact is probably that the god of this world has blinded their eyes so that they cannot see. Others are willfully ignorant. They choose not to know anything different from what they think they already know. Another significant factor is that they are taught to respect their leaders and to follow them unquestioningly! That is a dangerous teaching. Even Jesus offered proof for what he proclaimed. Even Jesus’ closest disciples called “noble” those who went directly to the Scriptures for themselves to check out all that they were being told, to see if it was so according to God’s revealed word. I think too many are ignorant of what is true. You can only recognize a counterfeit by knowing the original very well!
