How come people can spell anymore?
Combination of all sorts. In the older days, people didn’t have spell checkers and couldn’t rely on the computer to pick up their mistakes – now they can, and they don’t bother to learn to actually spell. Text messaging hasn’t helped either, with people abbreviating every word to make it shorter, then forgetting the proper spelling. Oh, and then their are the horribly annoying people who type stuff like “youuh” and stuff like that, where surely it is easier to put the proper fecking word… But yes, in short, grammar and spelling appear to be a dead discipline, perhaps one of the worst things to come from the computer age…
