How come no one questions the Theory of Gravity?

0

A theory is any phenomenon which is not fully explained/understood. Basically, until we understand how gravity works, it cannot become a law. It is a theory because it happens as a result of some fundamental law. For example, thermodynamics has laws because we can fully explain what happens. We know how, why, and can explain it on a quantum level. On the other hand, gravity is sort of taken for granted. Scientists know it happens. We can make accurate predictions about it, and it happens everywhere, but we honestly don’t know WHY gravity happens… it just kinda does. No one questions the theory of gravity because we all experience it. Some other theories may be questioned simply because people never have personal experience with them.
