How come my air conditioning isnt working on my car?
With the car running with the AC on, and in park, open the hood and see if the compressor is spinning. Be sure that not just the outer pulley is spinning, but the inner part. If it is not then the high pressure switch is not kicking in indicating a low refrigerant level. If it is, then you may have a bad compressor, blocked up orifice tube, or a variety of other issues. Either way you’ll need a qualified service tech to look at the system as even if its just low on refrigerant, the leak must be found or you’ll be back for a recharge again within a few weeks.
