How come most Korean Super Junior members are either an only child/have only one sibling?
Most women in countries as developed as South Korea (though I do not consider the country to be very highly developed, it is certainly a developed country) are going to have one or two children at most. It is costly to raise a child there, and women are pursuing careers and getting married later. Infant/child mortality rate is also pretty low there, which means a woman doesn’t have to have lots of children to increase the survival rate. True, all Super Junior members were born in the 80′s, and it should be noted that the government encouraged (although not forced, as the case was in China with its One Child Only policy) women to have one or two children during that time.
