How come Melbourne has some of the best Greek food in the world?

Australia has a huge Greek minority, so expect to find good Greek restaurants. However, I’m surprised that you find the Greek food in Greece worse than the Greek food in Melbourne, not that I would know, though, because I’ve neither been to Greece nor Australia before. However, normally food is meant to be the best when made in it’s country of origin by chefs from that country. Take kebabs for example, you can find some very delicious kebab in London (there’s one restaurant in Finchley which I would highly recommend, but I forgot it’s name, oops…), but in Turkey you’ll find even better kebabs. Mmm…just writing this makes me want to eat one…
