How come it takes a while after an appearance for the video to be posted?
The process of making videos is not as easy and simple as some may think. After capturing each appearance, running the video through noise-reduction filters (to remove the snow from the TV) and de-interlace filters (to get rid of the horizontal lines after capturing from TV), and then encoding to the desired media format in the highest possible quality is usually an overnight process. That, with other factors such as the time it takes to upload the video to the server, the fact that the webmaster may be busy to update the site, or perhaps because some appearances are sent to the webmaster via postal mail (which could take up to a month), can cause an appearance to take some time before it is posted.
