How come if the apartheid system in South Africa was so bad?
Wow – I am shocked in way to read the answers here. No one has an objective or even a slightly fair opinion on matters. Each one is basing his/her opinion on personal biases and experience and NOT the whole picture. Firstly, SA has always had it much easier than MOST African states, thus the influx of illegal immigrants. For Blacks politicians who are corrupt and commit crimes etc, it is SUCH a shame as the majority is now given a chance to make things right in SA…so they should make the best of it. Clean up the mess that was left by Apartheid. Yes – (for all the white’s reading this) it was/is a mess. When millions are left in slums and uneducated because of the colour of their skin, we’ve got a problem. It is that SIMPLE! For whites who say “it’s been more than 10years get over it”… any one with a brain will realize that a system that was based on racial segregation and unfair laws for more than 150 years does not correct the inequality in a country within a young 15 years.
