Cover-tunes (songs written by someone other than the artist performing them) must be licensed before we can sell them to you. Most licensings (like 80% of the cover-tunes out there) are handled through the Harry Fox Agency (HFA). We’ve worked out a great relationship with HFA and can license tracks with them very quickly. Some songs are not licensable through HFA, however. For those songs, we need to contact the music publisher and work out the licensing with them. Until those licenses are settled, we are not allowed to sell those tracks.
