How come I have never heard of Nokian tires?
Nokian is recognized as a technological leader in the tire business, especially in winter tires where we hold more patents than any other manufacturer. Our brand dominates Scandinavia and is highly regarded in countries throughout Europe. Nokian Tyres has been in North America for over 30 years and is focused on steady growth. We are well known in some regions (particularly the Northeast) but a relative newcomer in others. Our brand focuses on selling replacement tires so we are not original equipment on any car or SUV.
