How Come I Can’t Download Windows Live Movie Maker?

I was sure that Windows Live Movie Maker came with a Windows computer but apparently it doesn’t because it’s not on mine. I searched the programs and everything and now I tried to download it and it’s not working. All that comes up when I download it is a screen that says “Couldn’t install programs: You already have different flavor of Windows Live.” That additional detail says that I have to uninstall the version I already have installed. What does it mean, because there’s no version of Windows Live Movie Maker on my computer.
