How come honey badgers are really vicious even though there really small?
Honey badgers (Mellivora capensis), which aren’t true badgers, are tough and have bad attitudes. They’re known castrators. There’s even some evidence from Kruger National Park in South Africa of a honey badger killing a Cape buffalo. I had the opportunity to work with a pair of them at a zoo and you couldn’t have paid me enough money to go inside the enclosure with them.
