How come America doesn put enough value in early childhood education?

Because they don’t put enough value in elementary, middle, or high school as well. I’m an educator and believe you me, YES there are teachers who aren’t good at it. But, there are many that are and aren’t paid what they are worth so they leave the profession (many men don’t stay there either becuase they cannot support their families adequately) In order to have a comprehensive early childhood program it will take extra classrooms, extra teachers, extra support personnel, and a material/manipulative budget that’s out of this world. Superintendents (high and middle management) aren’t willing to take pay cuts in order for this to happen and no one wants to add to their taxes on their homes to see it happen either!
