How come a section of an essay i have written does not show up in the word count?
I presume word count with a Mac is the same as with IBM compatible as after all it is a Microsoft product you are using. You know that normally you go to tools, word count and it gives you total word count and you don’t need to highlight any of the text but if you want a specific portion of text counted, then highlight that section and you should get a word count only of what is selected.
