How come a Hairless dog is more expensive then a Powderpuff?
When people think of a Chinese Crested the first thing that comes to mind, is a hairless dog. I have noticed that because of the deadly genes it is sometimes harder to keep a hairless newborn, alive, and a lot of times they can just die. Having hairless in a litter I feel very fortunate, and lucky. Usually hairless sell really quickly. A lot of people don’t know about the Powderpuffs, and I try to explain that they are like a hidden treasure unlike any type of full coated dog. They are not only beautiful but have a wonderful personality. Because the puffs are not as popular as the hairless they are a lot harder to place, and so that is a big reason why the hairless go for more money.
