How cold/warm/wet does it get in Tallahassee?
• Florida is known as the “Sunshine State” for good reason; the weather is often very pleasant compared to other areas of the United States. Tallahassee’s location in north Florida means that we do have cooler weather than other Florida cities to the south. During the months of December through February, temperatures can occasionally drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit/0 degrees Celsius). During the summer months, especially in July and August, temperatures are usually in the 90s F/ 30s C, with high humidity. Tallahassee also gets substantial amounts of rain, particularly during the summer months.
