How cold is it in December in Okinawa Japan through January?
I think December through February is the most cold time, but even March it seems cold too. I think the coldest is around 48 F (around 9C) and up, it is so rare to be below than that. Just last week it was 48F even for March, and when it will be around 71F (around 71F) when it is warm. FYI, most of cherry-blossom trees have changed to all green, while many other places in Japan have just turned to pink. It sounds Okinawa is warm place but it is cold for people there. I think people from like Michigan or Canada feel cold at 48F if they do not turn on heater. I was like that. And it feels cold because of the wind, Okinawa is island surrounded by sea. You definitely cannot spend in just t-shirts and shorts.
