How close is Sylvia Fowles to becoming the best center in the world?
Auriemma: I think Sylvia Fowles potentially not only could be the best center in the world, she could potentially be the best player in the world. I just think it’s a matter of continuing to grow, continuing to improve, continuing to be challenged from a competitive standpoint. From what little I know of Sylvia, she wants to be that. It’s just a matter now of being put in that situation in a regular basis. FIBA: What is going to be the hardest adjustment for you to make when comparing college coaching to coaching a national team? Auriemma: Other than the shot-clock difference and the substitution patterns, which are a little different, I don’t see anything that would make me think you have to make a lot of changes coaching professionals as opposed to college guys.
