How close is Playa del Carmen to the airport/Cancun and other destinations?

Playa del Carmen is about 40 min. South of Cancun airport. Tulum and the historic ruins are about 40 min. South of Playa. You are 5 min. drive from Xcaret an eco adventure park. The ferry to Cozumel leaves from Playa ( you don’t get much closer!). We figure we have the perfect location. You may not want to leave the beach!
