How can you trade pokemon from Emerald to Fire Red?
To trade from FireRed to Emerald, you need to do two things: 1. Make sure you have the National Dex in Emerald. Just defeat the Elite Four and go see the Professor, he’ll give you the National Dex. 2. In FireRed, you have to unlock the ability to trade between FireRed and Emerald. To do this, you have to complete Celio’s quests on One Island. To get to One Island, beat Blaine at Cinnabar Island Gym and Bill will appear and ask if you want to travel to One Island. This can be a lengthy side-quest so be sure you have strong Pokemon. If you say “no” to Bill at first, he’ll wait for you at the Cinnabar Pokemon Center so you can take on Viridian City and the Pokemon League first, if you want. Once you’re ready, see Bill and he’ll take you to One Island. Once there, you’ll meet Celio and he will ask you to do some favors for him.
