How can you tell a pearl export drum kit?
The 3 later series of “export” set had lugs (nut boxes) that were exclusive to Pearl. The first models used lugs that were extensively copied by other far eastern companies. If you have one of the early kits, remove one of the nut boxes and on the inside of a genuine Pearl part the name Pearl will appear. Post a picture of one of your drums so that the type of badge and nut box can be identified.
