There have been 5 billion copies of the Bible distributed worldwide. 90% of all people can get a copy or parts of the Bible in their own languages. The Bible has been translated into over 2400 languages. The Bible is candid. Ancient kings would exaggerate their accomplishments. Yet the writers of the Bible admitted all their faults. Even when the events were very embarrassing to them. Such as Jonah’s running away from God’s command to go and preach to the city of Ninevah. He actually ran 2000 miles in the opposite direction. Or Peter, who denied Jesus three times after just saying he would never deny him. Or King David’s adulterous affair with Bathsheba.
