How can you get caught torrenting, or downloading games off the internet?
Usually you get caught because you have your torrents/downloads on Limewire (or whatever) shared. If you download things off of that, make sure you go into the options and turn off sharing. Sharing files on things like Limewire ups your internet usage, because while you are downloading music/movies, others are downloading from your shared files, which generally consists of everything you’ve downloaded. This makes it easier for ISPs to find people with illegal content. So 1: turn off sharing, and 2: take it easy. The best option, however, would be to download music/movies/games legally… Then you never have to worry about it being illegal. 😛 Note: My brother’s friend (who was living with us) got caught downloading things illegally and got slapped with a hefty fine, so anybody who says “they never catch you anyway” are full of it.
