How can you find out the manufacturer of old farm equipment by serial number?
ask where you got the equipment from. the serial number is not going to tell you who made it. some equipment only came in certain colors, like john deere only comes in green, kubota only comes in orange,new holland came in red and yellow, new holland comes in blue now, ask the neighbors if they know how old it is and the make. if you know the proper name for what it is just type that in your search bar and see what comes up. also try antique farm equipment and see if anything comes up.
