How can Yoga help with recovering from a snowboard injury?
I have a lot of experience being injured! It was mostly from snowboarding and skateboarding; I broke my leg twice, my tail bone, sternum, both wrists twice, and year ago I broke my collarbone, scapula, shoulder and a few ribs on my dirt bike. However, the worst was my back – I was diagnosed with L4 L5 bulging disks. I would just go to the gym and do whatever physical therapy I could do and recover from the broken bones. My back, on the other hand, was quite a struggle for eight years. I would go do my sports (or work) and I would be okay, on a scale of 1-10 it was usually always at 2-4. Then, all of a sudden I would be in so much pain I could barely walk. I still remember a contest at Timberline where I took one run through the half pipe, and landed everything, but at the end my back was not happy.
