How can we use COST to correctly calculate the cost of a unit deploying to prepositioned equipment, and then going to another location?

A method is to select the unit from their home station and deploy them as normal to the site where they will pickup their predeployed equipment. Complete the operation input by moving the unit into theater as normal. After calculation, use the calculated costs overrides screen to locate the unit and select CBS 4.1.2.2 Equipment deployed by aircraft. Select the use overrides box and make sure the override value is $0, then recalculate the operation. What this process does is calculate a cost for the personnel to be deployed by air and the material (all unit equipment and supplies except vehicles), but does not allow the cost for transporting vehicles. Make sure to check the CBS elements for any equipment redeployment costs and zero those out as well.
