How can we stop the poaching of endangered species like tiger, rhino?
We can put a stop on poaching by making people aware of the roles played by every species on this planet. Let people understand about the importance of the wildlife. Just talking about protection is not enough. In India about 67 per cent people are uneducated and do not understand why animals should be given more priority. The greatest crime against the country is unemployment. And the onus is on our policy makers and politicians to let people be educated. In the last 60 years we have not achieved that level of education in our country. Ignorance and lack of understanding are our real enemies. Education brings understanding and understanding brings respect and love, and when you love and give respect to something, you protect it. Common man needs to be informed about the role of flora and fauna. Is the government doing enough to save the wildlife? Government has great intention about the protection of wildlife in India.
