How can we slow down animal experiments in this financial climate & charity shops for research?
Charity shops won’t close down – people love a bargain and there’s always a chance that you’ll get one there. In an ideal world charities would not exist – the government would cover all the expenses of those places, but we do not live in an ideal world and so they have to make their money somehow. Animal experiments for the pharmaceutical industry play a major part in saving the lives of cancer sufferers and of those suffering from other terminal or debilitating diseases, and they should continue. Animal experiments for cosmetic purposes are unneccesary in any financial climate and should be stopped.
