I don’t agree with the water and vinegar solution since the vinegar is acid and can actually etch marble and granite. Marble is much softer and more porous than granite. I would think you have granite countertops but, the answer is the same for either one. You can buy refinishing kits at most hardware and big box stores. It takes a little elbow grease, but it’s relatively easy to polish the rings or spots. You should refinish counter tops every couple of years anyway. It will bring the original golss back to the countertops.
